The Brett Boyer Foundation

The Brett Boyer Foundation was created in loving memory and in honor of our beloved daughter Brett. Brett is our first child who was diagnosed prenatally with Down Syndrome and a congenital heart defect (CHD). Brett battled this heart disease (atrioventricular septal defect) for her 7 inspiring and incredible months of life.


Mission:

Our mission is to raise awareness for Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) and fund research to advance treatment options. It is also our mission to spread the love and awareness that Brett filled us with for the wonderful, capable people living with Down Syndrome.

The Dancing Divas and Dudes was started in Nashville as the first nonprofit dance team for individuals with special needs. Each team member has the opportunity to grow physically, mentally, and emotionally at practices while learning a variety of dance genres.
